Horrible Customer Relations

Too much bread & not enough flavor. I drove 25 minutes out of my way to get to the truck because I wanted to try it & I had the Groupon. The prices & food only warrant maybe a $5-$6 price tag and I would drive maybe 5-10 minutes to get this type of food. I highly recommend improving the sauces and reducing the bread to cheese ratio.

There food is specacular, BUT they do not like redeeming Groupons. They will do the basic menu only and no specials. Their customer service is horrendous, but their food is amazing!

If you're a true cheese-freak (similar to a chocoholic) get even more cheese. They have goat, blue cheese, etc. in addition to the basic. And the carmelized onions send these sandwiches into orbit!

I used this Groupon after it had expired and the Groupon indicated a paid value of $12. They were out of the first two items that I selected and the young man was less than friendly about it. I get it- busy food truck night in Scripps Ranch, but they seemed ill prepared. I then ordered the Carnivore ($9.5) and a bag of chips ($1). The gentleman told me that I had to pay $1.00 for the chips. He would not budge on this and despite the fact that I disagreed, I was not about to argue with someone who was about to prepare my food. I paid $12 and I received only a value of $10.50.

Ran out of lobster and burger patties to make the carnivore. Its like they ran out within 30 min of being open. This is the 3rd time. If they are going to a normal spot why Not be prepared?

From Our Editors

True to its name, the Basic 5 sandwich from the GreenGo Grilled Cheese Gastro Truck is pretty simple: provolone, sharp-aged cheddar, swiss, muenster, and mozzarella melted together on sourdough bread. From that modest foundation, however, Chef Gaston Corbala uses local and organic ingredients to build innovative variations on the classic sandwich from his eco-friendly food truck.

Into Gaston's specialty grilled cheese sandwiches go everything from butter-fried lobster and smoked jalapeños to hamburger patties made from certified grass-fed beef. Gaston's experiments get even adventurous with his monthly specials, which have included cheddar-cheese-crusted sandwiches with bacon and maple syrup, a tastier alternative to pressing your sandwich against a sappy tree.

Of course, Gaston happily relinquishes the fun of combining unorthodox flavors to his customers. Many sandwiches include a choice of at least one of Gaston's from-scratch spreads, such as ale-beer chipotle mayo. And room can be made in any of GreenGo's sandwiches for add-ons such as balsamic caramelized onions or organic pomodoro sauce.
