Paid for the ride. Boarded the boat and they cancelled the ride due to another scheduled event. If they knew of the even why did we board and why was the time not blocked off? Really ruined my trip since there were no other times i could go

My family and I had a great time. We enjoyed the captain's narration he was funny. The snacks were delicious. There were a lot to see and we learned a lot about the history of the navy ships old and new

It was a beautiful day on the water! A couple of shady spots with tables on the top deck would have been nice; I should have remembered my hat! Also, the snack bar didn't open til we were well underway so I got pretty thirsty while waiting. Next time I'll bring my own water. The woman at the bar was super nice though. We had a great time, even for being a local! Bonus was the air race!!

We went out on a whale watching tour in march and we had to go our pretty far to see them. We also saw a pod of dolphins so that was very rewarding. Next time I would go earlier in the year for the chance to see more activity. Bundle up because it's cold on the water. This was my first trip on hornblower and I would use them again next year.

The boat was nice, the captain was great, and the nature ladies on board were knowledgeable and friendly. We just went late enough in the season that we didn't see any whales (nor did any other boats out that day--they were in radio contact in case any spotted one). However, we DID have quite the presentation by a bunch of dolphins (Video at https://youtu.be/yg43U1H0s-s). The coolest part was peeking around to look by the bow, and seeing a bunch of dolphins "surfing" in front of the boat there!

The trip was very professionally organized; we took off on time and the boat was great, as was the captain and his commentary! However, I found the volunteers a bit annoying. They talked over the captain's comments, though without the background or knowledge; and they talked incessantly. In the interest of full disclosure, I was not the happiest camper, since about 15 minutes into the journey, I became slightly seasick, despite "wrist bands" and dramamine!! But thankfully, your well-priced beers and pretzels came to the rescue!!

Great experience! They even had volunteers from the San Diego Natural History Museum on the ship walking around explaining the whale migration, what to look for, etc.
