PubCakes owner Misty Birchall and her cadre of cake aces whip up a variety of sweet and saucy beer-based confections infused with locally brewed craft ales and various liqueurs. Diners can choose from a rotating selection of 12 flavors, including the Stoned Portzilla, made with locally brewed Stone smoked porter, coffee ganache, and caramelized coconut. Beer for Breakfast houses AleSmith wee heavy Scotch ale, bacon, and maple cream-cheese frosting, and the Irish Carbomb's concoction of Irish cream and Guinness frosting over chocolate-whiskey ganache is famous for gently exploding in a cloud of four-leaf clovers upon contact with the tongue. Clients should place their orders at least 24 hours in advance to ensure fulfillment.
