A well-known Greek restaurant in San Diego, Skewers is the ideal location for lamb. Not interested in the lamb? They have a menu with plenty of options. Expect a wonderful staff and terrific service in a familiar atmosphere that makes the visit worth it.
Defined by its outdoor seating, the restaurant is a fantastic option when feel like soaking in some of that SoCal sun. No specific attire is required, so feel free to dress casually and comfortably. Also, though the overall price can be a bit on the low side, you won't be sacrificing any quality. In fact, you should be able to enjoy a good meal for $11 or $12, and can probably get in and out for $8 if you try.
Upon arrival, see if you can try the soup, the meat, or the chicken, as each one will impress. In terms of the restaurant itself, it's been tabbed by the locals as a really solid option for large groups.
A good option for lunch, Skewers is a terrific choice when you're in the mood for unique international cuisine, and want to break away from the regular ol' Chinese/Mexican/Italian fare. The food, in general, is "tasty" and "good." Specifically, the salad is proclaimed to be "good." Also, its flavor is known to be "unique" and "good." Don't worry about trying to find a spot on the street, as visitors to the restaurant do have access to a private parking lot nearby.
