Very nice presentation, however, it lead us to believe we were going to make a batch of brew.

The only reason I checked what I did in the previous question was because I hadn't heard of Thorn St. After having been there, I will definitely be going back! Great people, amazing beer, fantastic atmosphere! Keep it up Thorn St brewing!

Great lecture and tastings. We learned a lot. The guys liked "Czech-style" beer, but the ladies, with their keen sense of smell, preferred floral, sweet beers. We tasted an "Imperial" stout beloved by Catherine The Great. Nice. Sweet, floral. Maybe I'll work up the nerve to join a brew club.

I had a great time brewing and chatting with the brew team at at Thorn Street. Also, the facility is setup really well.

From Our Editors

When Dennis O’Connor realized his passion was brewing beer, not selling the materials to do so, he converted his home-brew shop into Thorn Street Brewery. Now, the brewery—complete with a seven-barrel brew house and a tasting room—offers oatmeal stouts, Kölsch-style ales, red ales, IPAs, and Belgian-style ales. In addition to sipping in the tasting room or on the open-air patio, visitors to the brewery can take home-brewing classes to hone their skills.
