With dual personal-training certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Council on Strength and Fitness and 10 more elective certifications in a range of specific fitness techniques, Russell Bui has more than enough knowledge to help his clients build fit, lean bodies. But that would be setting the bar too low. His principal goal is to help his clients live longer, happier lives by mending the body's imbalances and ailments to make it perform at its best, not by challenging it to its breaking point, but by gradually building a strong, healthy foundation. He achieves this with training programs that begin with an in-depth assessment to review his clients' athletic and medical history, determine goals, identify any muscular imbalances, and test if the biceps have a cartoonish reaction to canned spinach.
