A guild-certified Feldenkrais practitioner, movement artist, and theater student, the owner of Embodying Self, Arona, harnesses more than 20 years' experience to train clients in movement practices that improve performance and prevent injury. Group and private lessons get bodies moving with tango, improv, yoga, and Feldenkrais techniques, which increase self-awareness through a focused attention on movement and touch. Arona guides classes with the student's experience in mind, encouraging experimentation with varying permutations to help them easily adapt to any floor space, partner, music, or mosh pit. The program aims to help improve balance and flexibility, and to address bodily pain and depression.
