Very friendly folks. Not much of a choice but what they have good home-cooked food. We got the: chicken meatballs, rice w/chicken, and the pork stroganoff. All very flavorful. Complete meal without having to cook. Even at the regular price of $20.00 the food would be worth it. Daniella speaks spanish very well. Not bad for a Russian. LOL!

This store overcharges you on certain items. I bought smoked butter fish at $17.99 lb prepackaged and it weighed 10 ozs. The store re-weighed the entire packet with cardboard, plastic etc, and put a new label and it cost more. Same thing with the 1 lb packet of hotdogs that was re-weighed by the store and slapped with a label that costs more. It was $4.99 a lb but was reweighed with a new label and cost\ $5.36. It's a small amount on this item but a larger difference on the higher priced item item. I think it's unethical for them to do that and I knew better. Just felt it was okay to be cheated since I had the groupon.

I'm really enjoying the Groupons to Europa Express. I'm learning and enjoying good Russian food.

Love this place! An excellent selection of foods, and they're not kidding about the "gourmet" part: double-Devon-cream butter from England, small Australian rack of lamb at a great price, "hunter's bacon," and all kinds of Russian/Polish/Eastern European meats, frozen pierogies, cookies, candies, and more. Family-run plus extra staff, generally super-friendly (except for one noticeably surly young guy, who totally transformed when I summoned one of my few words of Russian—but what happens with the Groupon customers who don't know any?). On my first visit to Europa, I'd mangled the printing of my Groupon so badly that it couldn't be used, and Boris, the owner, was kind enough to take me back into his office, let me log onto my account, and print it out correctly. I can't think of another store I've ever been in where, without any previous relationship as a customer, such courtesy and kindness would be extended. And even though Andronico's (a chain of "quality" supermarkets) is in the next block, I find much better prices and more items I actually want at the much smaller Europa, go figure. I'll be a lifetime customer.
