Since 1967, aromas from a menu pairing Italian, Brazilian, and American culinary traditions have drifted past The Original Front Room's merlot-hued awning and rough-hewn shingles. Chefs accent an array of 16 classic and deep-dish pizzas, drawing upon a palette of toppings such as authentic barbecue from Chinatown, roasted pine nuts, or ricotta cheese. Brazilian dishes, such as oxtail stew and slow-cooked beef trotters, ferry tongues on international excursions and inspire feral Carnival floats to return home. In the soft glow of neon beer signs, brews from Sierra Nevada and Stella Artois leave cool rings on tabletops and fuel gleeful toasts.
