Tour guide was friendly and he knew his city. Intimate tour, small van, so easier to move around city.

It was a smaller guided tour with various opportunities to get out of the van and take pictures. The guide was knowledgeable about the city and personable. It is obvious that he loves his job.

Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He interacted with everyone making sure we all had a good time. My Groupon said to bring money because we were going to eat somewhere. I was a bit confused about that since we didn't. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This was an awesome tour, and the guides were great. The group was small and allowed for a more intimate learning experience. I would recommend this to anyone!

The tour was great and very good value. They take you to all the best views in the city. But the van is tight and ours was crowded.

Don't recommend this tour! Was outside waiting for tour to start for 30 mins...and I call just for the operator to tell us that they're stuff in traffic. I think common courtesy would have been a heads up. A van finally arrives and its dirty. Plus the breaks are bad so we can't hear anything over the squealing. Driver is completely unprofessional and he did not share a lot of worthy SF history.

Jeffrey was an awesome guide. I was worried my teenager kids would not like the 3 hour tour but they loved it as much as we did! I would take this tour again.. Hopefully I'll be back in San Francisco soon 5*!

It would be a 1 or 2 star however we did see a lot of the city so I'm giving it a 3. He was 30 minutes late, it should have been 2-5 but was 2:30-6, the driver would say this building is... but wouldn't say here on left or right, so I had no idea what he was talking about. He also made weird comments that had nothing to do about tour. The van was very hot and stuffy and not all seat belts worked.

THIS WAS A FANTASTIC OUTING WITH MY FAMILY WITH PICS and MEMORIES to LAST A LIFETIME! Robert was such an engaging guide (and we were lucky to have him 'all to ourselves'... Me, my brother, my sister and my Momma (for her 71'st birthday)... a great (affordable SF tour option) for one who doesn't want to do too much walking (My Momma)... Robert spent an extra hour with us (and we were able to get out and take pictures at Lombard St., The Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point, Twin Peaks, Alamo Square (Painted Ladies) and ANYWHERE else we wanted to go! So special... (and to think for 50% more we were going to do a "Hop on, Hop Of bus" instead ;/ THIS was the BEST idea and cant tell you how many fun facts we learned while cruising around on "the van". Again- if you have a family member visiting that is a tad older (or maybe not able to walk all those famous SF hills- PICK THIS TOUR)... Next up... figuring out which pictures to get framed. THANK YOU ROBERT for facilitating (guiding us through)this irreplaceable moment for our family! My Mom was SOOOO HAPPY!INCREDIBLE!

From Our Editors

During his years as a taxi driver, Stephen Kadis loved to share his passion for San Francisco with passengers, drawing on stories and fun facts as he navigated them past the city's hills and picturesque boulevards. The only problem was he could only fit so many people into his cab at a time. He fixed that problem by founding his own tour company, Left Coast Tours.

Today, Kadis and his crew of hand-picked guides ferry guests to the city's most iconic sites, from the restaurants and culture of the country's oldest Chinatown to the panoramic vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge. Daytime city tours let tourists snap pictures of or carve their initials into skyline views from 14 different scenic stops. Nightlife tours treat visitors to fine Chinese and Italian restaurants, celebrated San Francisco bars, and upper-crust hotels and cafes.

The Left Coast crew also provides its guests with the sights and experiences found just outside of The Golden Gate: Muir Woods, and the lesser known wineries in Napa and Sonoma Counties. Learn about each location and offering while you enjoy the sights, smells, vistas and flavors of these iconic locations.
