When guests walk into North Beach Gyros, they're welcomed with savory scents and the promise of fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food. With its corner location, the eatery's floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of tree-lined streets, perfect for people-watching or mime-miming. The restaurant's walls feature bright folksy murals, set above cushioned leather booths. But the most important part of the eatery is the stainless-steel kitchen, where chefs shave tender slices of savory meat off rotating spits of chicken, lamb, and beef. Outside of the restaurant's titular treat, the chefs serve up swordfish wraps, baba ghanouj, and spanakopita, washed down with ice-cold glasses of fresh lemonade.
