In a parking lot at Pacific and Sansome Streets in the Northeast Waterfront is a permanently stationed food truck serving perfectly balanced mochas from its hip, matte black weekday digs. Part of an all-new trio along with cafés in Chinatown and the Castro, Réveille Coffee Co.'s truck stands with local heavyweights like Four Barrel, Sightglass and Blue Bottle in its fierce determination to squeeze complexity out of every last bean. By putting out wooden furniture enough for four to six people to sip from their stamped cups, Réveille is basically an excuse to enjoy some fresh air away from the office, while downing quality joe. Unless you're the type to run screaming from a signboard that lists a particular coffee's tasting notes, Réveille offers one of the most refined urban refuges around.
