I felt I could have had favorite dish somewhere else for less than $20. Here I ended up paying $19 (groupon) + $7 (only one garlic nasn for my son and tax)+$2 (tip)= $28. On top, my wife didn't like the chicken, I didn't like the paneer tikka masala and the rice was improperly cooked. Do not recommend this place(:

The service was great. Our server had no problem tailoring our order when we asked for a couple substitutions, and we watched as they re-opened their kitchen because a couple others came in a few minutes after they had closed.

Not really authentic naan. No chai tea served at that time (discontinued). Flavors were a little bland.

The meat entree was pathetic in size; it's suppose to be "dinner for 2" and yet they only gave us 4 cubes of chicken in the tikka masala. I've been there before and took a friend who had never been. Food's tasty but the stinginess of the portions (wine was about 1/3 glass!) is a turn off. If the Groupon is to bring in new people to introduce Rotee so that people want to come back, it failed with us.

It would be great if Rotee can add to their menu hot drinks such as tea, etc.

The service was great. The atmosphere was simple and chic. The restrooms were super clean, which to me means that the rest of the restaurant is clean as well. Im an RN so cleanliness is a major for me. And most importantly, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I love Indian food and I have eaten at many places. I have to say, Rotee has the best chicken tikamasala and naan I have ever tried. A definite new favorite.

From Our Editors

Honoring the tradition of Pakistani and northern Indian cuisine, Rotee's chefs craft creatively spiced dishes from scratch amid décor inspired by Bollywood movie studios. Diners catch glimpses of chefs hard at work within an open-air kitchen as select cuts of halal beef, lamb, and chicken roast in a tandoor amid house-made chutneys and sauces. The menu brims with curries, meat-free fare, and traditional dishes such as chicken tikka masala and mutter paneer, as five varieties of naan emerge from the tandoor ready to soak up the flavorful sauces. Diners savor the exotic flavors and extinguish mouth fires with tableside yogurt hydrants as pendant lights illuminate the space's curry-red walls and pea-green seating.
