Imagine the board game Candy Land, mix it with immersive theatre, then sift it through the stuff that dreams are made of—what's left in your mind, then, will be close to Midwayville. But this mini theme park and carnival for adults can't really be summed up in one sentence. Instead, it's only by winding through the giddily odd experiences that one can begin to understand it. And when you do so, these are a few of the attractions you'll find:
- Midwayville Alley: Hobo kings weave stories near carnival barkers, stilt-walking skeletons, costumed cabaret performers, and carnival games.
- Mingletron 9000: This robot-run mingling experience pairs small talk with DJ beats.
- The Haunted Forest: Completely immersive, with larger-than-life set pieces and quirky characters, this spooky section has guests visit the Grumpy Goblins.
- Food Trucks: A carnival is not a carnival without late-night snacks from a variety of world cuisines.
