City By The Bay Tours' old-fashioned trolley cars roll through the city of San Francisco, allowing first-time visitors and inhabitants to discover the city's treasures. Before being permitted to lead groups of eager city seers, each guide must audition and prove his ability to present facts about the city in a fun and engaging manner. Guides spin three hours' worth of stories as trolleys rumble through tours, which cater to people who will only visit San Francisco once during their lives or before returning to their home planets. As such, the tours only visit important landmarks; they begin at Fisherman's Wharf, wind through Chinatown and Union Square, climb to the top of Twin Peaks, glide through the Haight-Ashbury district, and end with spectacular views from Fort Point beneath the Golden Gate Bridge.
