Defined by its outdoor seating, the restaurant is a fantastic option when the NorCal weather is nice. There's no particular required attire, so feel free to dress comfortably. Also, though the prices are considered to be lower than average, you aren't going to sacrifice any quality. In fact, you should be able to enjoy a good meal for $11 or $12, and can probably get in and out for $8 if you try.
It's recommended that you should try the pastrami, the roast beef, or the soda, as each one is fantastic. In terms of the restaurant itself, most local parents will tell you that it's a good place to bring the kids, as well. WiFi's available if you're trying to get some work done, and if you're in a hurry, you can always take advantage of the convenient take-out menu.
A good option for lunch in West Portal, you won't walk away from Toasties disappointed. The service, in general, is "friendly" and "good." More specifically, the crab is touted as "yummy" and "nice," Also, its crepe is known to be "savory" and "delightful," while the sandwich shop is "great," the customer service is "helpful" and "great," and the parking is "awesome." Visitors to the restaurant have the ability to park nearby on the street.
