The Three Faces of Yield Wine Bar
If you don’t recognize many of the wines on the wine list, don't be alarmed—many of them are unique and oftentimes exclusive to Yield. And all of Yield's wines are made using environmentally responsible practices to boot, with a large number coming straight from family-owned and -operated wineries. Yield's unbending commitment to eco-friendly wines also means several of its selections are certified organic, and several others are certified biodynamic.
The food at Yield is sort of a hidden gem. The vegetarian and pescatarian dishes—originally created with help from the chefs at the renowned Millennium Restaurant—change seasonally, showcasing the region's best produce and seafood. The menu might include warm artichoke dip served with fried leeks, or it might feature grilled flatbread pizzas topped with sun dried tomatoes, red peppers, and other fresh goodies.
Cozy Communal Vibe
Yield cultivates a cozy ambiance with dark hues, plush sofas, and tables made of reclaimed wood. The bar is perfect for gathering with friends for an after-work happy hour, but so is the lounge area, with its close-to-the-ground tables and soft stools that resemble oversized marshmallows. On Tuesday evenings, the space really stirs to life thanks to Yield's popular trivia game, which sends the night's top players home with prizes.
