The gentleman at the counter was courteous. Though the appointment began 15 minutes later than scheduled, we received our full hour of float time and extra time for showering. The only thing I would suggest is to provide a hair dryer for patrons, as well as implement the option for some soft sensual relaxing music within the float chamber.

I like the spa, courteous staff. Was there for a floatation session. Felt like it should've been longer. I'll probably go again sometime.

Would definitely recommend Zazen! Plenty of street parking. The staff here were friendly and accommodating. Massage with Joe , who was courteous and respectful and extremely intuitive. The float afterwards was less weird than I had expected. It was very easy to get comfortable. The hallway was a little noisy near the float tanks so I was sure to use the provided earplugs while floating. Left feeling refreshed. Would definitely return!

From Our Editors

At Zazen, students relax their bodies and focus their minds during sessions of Zen Buddhist seated meditation, the soothing practice for which the center is named. But Zazen works to cultivate calm with other services as well. Sensory-deprivation tanks block out distracting external stimuli as guests float in 10 inches of warm saltwater, a practice many say helps them grow their awareness of the present moment. Massage sessions focus on freeing the body from tension, so it can be experienced as spaciousness rather than constraint. Yoga classes also help guests become mindful, filling hearts and limbs with enough calm energy to quiet a bawling infant with a single, whispered "shhh."
