The place changed ownership and name. Menu was quite different than expected.

They have changed their name and menu. It is now Playa Bonita. A Mexican fare now. I like Mexican food very much. But my carne Asada was tough and tasteless. The restaurant was not clean. Apparently they changed the menu to save food costs. They desperately need a restaurant impossible makeover.

First of all, it is no longer called Creekside Bar and Grill. Its a Mexican Restaurant now, and I forgot the name of it. The food was okay, but they need better organization. Maybe that's coming, I don't know.

We gave a little feedback to the waiter, but should have asked for the owner. We praised the food and wonderful service. We also suggested that they add background music until the entertainment begins and that they put flyers on the windshields of cars at the nearby train station. This place would be GREAT for happy hour on the train path!! The waiter handed my friend and I coupons to give to friends. :)

Service was great, the entrees were awesome, but the cheese fondue fell flat. I felt it was canned cheese sauce and not really fondue. Other than that, was very pleased.

From Our Editors

The old saying asks people to sing for their supper, but at Creekside Bar and Grill, the singing is just a fun bonus. Along with digging into heaping plates of internationally inspired steaks and broiled fish, guests can participate in karaoke during later hours on certain evenings, or dine quietly before the serenades begin. Each dish, from Angus prime rib to egg-dipped calamari steak, is a result of the chefs’ determination to continuously perfect their recipes since the restaurant opened more than 25 years ago. In keeping with those high standards, meals are made with fresh and local ingredients, including seafood from the San Francisco Bay area.
