The meal was nice and the menu fairly broad, but the entire feel of the resturant has the eerie feel of a business just about to go bankrupt; the wait staff seemed disinterested in what was going on around them and the decor is, depending on your persective, wildly out of date or kitschy. One add'l note: I ordered an iced tea for my date and was charged for 2 drinks because the Fairmont Hotel doesn't allow drink sharing (to avoid the add'l charge, I was told she needed to order it herself.) I'm sad that the Fountain resturant has fallen so far from its' glory days when it actually was a soda fountain and ice cream desserts were available.
