I didn’t realize this was shopping at the convention center.

It’s just like a swap meet not an old English Christmas. It was amazing at the Utah State Fairgrounds. We do love Father Christmas and the food was much better this year. I think it would feel much better in a different location. It’s just to commercial feeling and not enough Old Christmas.

I love the Dickens Festival and go every year. I docked a star because for the third year in a row, some pervy middle aged vendor thought it was okay to touch my shoulders, lower back, and invade my personal space on the flimsy pretext of helping me try out his product. The organizers really need to speak to their vendors about not sexually harassing the patrons.

It is not the same as when it was at the Fairgrounds. There was more room and didn't feel so crowded. It is still fun to go to but I would like to see more things about the era.

We enjoyed it...spent too much money of course. I wish there would have been more people in character and period things to see and do.

Doesnt have a Christmas feel anymore. To many vendors and it's over crowded

The Dicken's festival is very disappointing. It had very little to do with Christmas. I wish it was like it used to be when everything was about Christmas an there were activities for kids to do.
The carol-filled streets, holly-decked halls, and unquiet holiday spirits of Charles Dickens' England come to Salt Lake City during the Dickens Christmas Festival. Fresh from its run in St. George, the recreation of Victorian England will transform the South Towne Exposition Center into an old-fashioned Christmas wonderland complete with bustling shops, live music, and revelers outfitted in period dress.
