It is more challenging than we thought with the river at its lowest levels, and in a two-person kayak. Look forward to doing it again when the river is at different water levels. Great trip.

single kayaks are better than the double. Too large and when water is low way to many rocks to attempt to get thru. It was great fun....

Be prepared to MOVE SLOWLY until you actually put in (took us an hour). Everything else was good!

Went on the afternoon trip, had a great time. Expect to wait getting in the water and getting out.

The kayaks have storage areas in the front & rear, but don't expect anything you put there to stay dry. Best to take a sturdy zip-lock bag for anything you just have to keep with you on the trip.

Had a wonderful trip kayaking down the Chattahoochee River - looking forward to going out with them again :-)

Urban Currents needs to make it clear they are only offering transportation and equipment. They hurried unprepared people onto the river, and had no way of helping people who were stuck on the river at dark. The website recommends this trip to kids 5 and up. 8 miles is a long way for many 5-10 year olds. They really should counsel the newer folks on the difficulty level and perhaps safety concerns. We saw at least five people who called it the worst day of their lives, who were pretty unprepared by what this trip was about and that there was no guide or guidance.

Arrived at 8:45 AM for 9:00 AM trip. No one from UB present no indication where the office was. After signing in at after 9:00 AM we waited for the "guide". A sleepy guy arrived finally, made some excuses. We finally pushed to the input dock at `10:05. Could have avoided the traffic if told to arrive later. Junky bus.
