Dr. Rani Kakar has lived her life with purpose. When she was just 8 years old, visiting her grandparents in India, she volunteer at an orphanage originally founded by Mother Teresa. There, she witnessed people suffering from all manner of diseases and chronic discomfort, and decided to dedicate her life to helping others overcome such maladies. In the years that followed, she became an osteopathic physician and embraced an integrated, noninvasive health-care approach inspired by traditional and holistic therapies.
At Renaissance Sleep and Physical Medicine Dr. Kakar is joined in her efforts by a dedicated staff, which includes a certified surgical technician and physician assistant, a licensed chiropractor, and a certified nutritionist. Together, they provide everything from hands-on therapy to lifestyle guidance, alleviating pain caused by arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, automobile accidents, or falling asleep while holding the downward dog position.
