The 4th annual Redneck Run is a unique way for locals to be active in the valley. The run donates to Dogs on Deployment and benefits service men and women. Begin the day at the party plaza at Westgate with some country music from Mary Hoffman, the Shari Rowe Band, and the Geetars. There’s a 5k, 10k, and a two-person plunger relay where the timing baton is a toilet plunger. Feel free to bring pets, kids, and strollers too for the “Country Mile”. Everyone is welcome to dress up in their best country outfit for a chance to win a costume prize. All 5k and 10k participants receive a plaid shirt for running and participation medal. After the main events, guests are welcome to enjoy carnival games, cow milk, and a cold one over at Whiskey Rose for the after party.
