The girl that did the injections was good and nice enough. The place does not look very professional. The front desk had some problem with my groupon (this had something to do with the number of merchant accounts they have)and she wanted me to pay for the groupon. She said she needed to collect that before I could leave, and I told her she needed to get in touch with groupon. Let me just say it wasn't hanled very well.
Great experience and I looked so much better!
After I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that the Spa's Botox shipment has not arrived. Instead, I was offered Dysport. Since I made the appointment 1-day prior, I should have been informed about the product switch.
I researched Botox vs. Dysport and found they are very similar products, but dosing is different. Also, the cost of Dysport [for the Spa] is less then the cost of Botox.
Based on past experience, I am pretty certain I did not receive the the proper or maybe full dose, as very little wrinkle change has occurred.
The treatment was a waste of time and money. I believe I was duped.
The technician was sure to mention, "people become 'resistant' to Botox and Dysport over time."
I am [relatively] a newcomer to Botox, so the ineffectiveness of Amazing Medical Spa's treatment is not due to me being resistant to either drug.
They are running a scam. When you show up for your botox they won't have any on hand and they will offer you (disport?) or some other injectable that does not work. Whatever they injected gave me headaches and did not work like botox.
The reason I gave it 1 star is because the nurse was fantastic. The owner slash receptionist was overwhelming, rude and very pushy, she insteded that the package I purchased on group on wasn't enough and that I needed over 100 units of dysport but before she even came into the room the nurse actually complement me on my skin and said how I didn't need much . Then she came in the room cut off the nurse and was aggressive about more botox or more dysport, and gave me a million reasons why and was inappropriate the whole time , finally I said ok and at that point I handed her cash and she explained really I can't take cash u really don't have a debit ....I really had to explain how I just left work, she huffed and I said I can use my group on and I will come back tomorrow, she looked at the nurse kinda nodded and ok whatever I have to go cya later.......what a joke I expected more of a fun experience turned into such a turnoff .
I would never go back, I've never been treated like that and no one should ever feel pressured .
Very difficult to schedule initially and ask questions about additional services. Bought the deal for 1 syringe of juvderm. I called to confirm my appointment the day before. When my mother and I went in they advised me they were out of juvderm . How does this happen? They blamed in on the mail and it being the holidays. I understand, things happen but why are you waiting to restock till u run out
Very disappointed. Bruised so badly and it was so painful. Will not be back again.
Love Samantha and Miss O! They will answer all of your questions and make you feel like family. Great happy hour pricing, and they have awesome special
I bought 20 units botox which lasted 1 month and 2 syringes of juvederm for my lips which was completely gone within 6 weeks! do not buy!! RIP OFF!!
