Eli’s American Grille has been open since 1992, always staffed by a crew of vivacious servers who aim to make the colorful pub feel like a second home. The bartenders chat and serve a selection of 28 bottled beers from beneath a line of 14 HDTVs, each screening sports games or a camera feed from a friendly bar with lots of HDTVs. Beside beers, Eli’s fuels cheering and dancing with a menu that has room for steaks, ribs, and seafood as well as lighter options such as arugula salads and ceviche. Fresh off the grill, half-pound burgers get topped with bacon or with green chili and guacamole, and beer-battered fish ‘n’ chips sizzle in the fryer, especially for Friday's $10.99 special. Seven nights a week, live nightclub and guitar music keep the party bouncing until closing, after which patrons can safely hop into one of many cabs waiting at the entrance. Happy hour also entertains patrons seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
