Though the eponymous family at Rosati's Pizza has been slinging pizza dough for more than 40 years, the recipes are far older. Chefs use recipes crafted from years of experience by their family in Italy, with the perfected recipes forming into their four signature styles of pizza. Their most famous type of foundation is the deep-dish Chicago-style pizza, in which they bake a thick, buttery crust with a hefty layer of mozzarella cheese and chosen toppings. But for clients who like their slices sans knife and fork, they also offer the still-thick but manageable pan pizza, the hefty double-dough pizza, and flaky slices of crispy thin crust pizza.
All options can be customized with a choice of toppings, from spicy pepperoini to shrimp or whole meatballs. The kitchen staff can pair these meaty toppings with a choice of fruits and vegetables, such as the sauteed spinach or tangy pineapple. Outside of the realm of pizza, chefs also cook up Italian favorites such as pasta and American favorites such as burgers and ribs.
