For more than 100 years, The Inn at Pocono Manor has been welcoming guests eager to unwind at the resort known to locals as The Grand Lady of the Mountains. The hotel, which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, has a golf course that has also been in existence for more than 100 years, the Pocono Manor Golf Club. The course was designed by famed architects Donald Ross and William Flynn and over the decades, has hosted such golf greats as Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, and Art Wall Jr.
Golfers today can take on the blind tee shots, grass bunkers, water hazards, and sharp doglegs that challenged these top players back in the day. At the end of their round, they can head to the 19th Hole Restaurant and Bar for a leisurely meal, drink, and chat about whose slacks have the most starch.
