The beers were an outragious price compared to other beer festivals. There were little to choose from, and the venue was TINY, with little to do. Country music the whole time, really? I have been going to these festivals for over eight straight years. This was by far the worst value! It was so boring that we just walked to the boardwalk and forgot about it.

Running out of certain foods and then having the vendor forget to give you your paid food then being mean when you kindly reminded him. Also not good for small children.

This year there was a lack of the Cajun food. And no Zydeco music. I did not enjoy it at all! Last year was much better.

The festival needs to happen when crawfish are more in season...they were very small and on Sunday by 3:30 they were out of potatoes and corn...they were literally throwing the scoops of crawfish into our containers..needs improvement

From Our Editors

This year the purveyors at the Kemah Crawfish Festival will be celebrating the event's fifth anniversary fittingly—with crawfish innovation. Their new cooking units can boil up to 6,000 pounds of crawfish per hour, which is more than enough to feed the hungry revelers and stray walruses that flock to the event grounds. In addition to crawfish, this festival also features three days of drinks, and live music from the likes of Louisiana songwriter Wayne Toups.
