Night I was there a drunk patron was harassing some other patrons, using homophobic slurs, and causing a scene. The owner/manager was a wimp and didn't kick him out for over 20 minutes, by which time any chance of a relaxing evening was shot. The management MUST be on top of nuisance/abusive patrons in a firm and prompt manner instead of trying to nice-ask the drunk to leave. The experience makes me not want to visit again. The manager seriously needs to grow a pair.

The floor is sticky and the food is slow to arrive. Funky vinegar smell in the joint.

The mahi mahi tacos were tasty and the three tacos were massive. The fried chicken was also delicious with a healthy serving of mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables.

From Our Editors

Northwestern ingredients swim through Acquabar Bistro and Lounge's menu of homestyle American fare and seafood entrees, and fresh fruit and herbs infuse the bar's list of inventive cocktails. On weekdays, Acquabar's adjacent café specializes in casual lunches such as toasty grilled paninis and espresso with coffee beans from Caffe D'arte, and the restaurant's bistro and lounge invites dinner diners to luxuriate amid modern hardwood décor and feast on regional American entrees including Cajun catfish and po boys crafted from local oysters. Owner and experienced restaurateur David Leong, who was once profiled in Seattle Weekly, also attracts late-night revelers with live music, DJs, and sultry mermaid vocalists.
