Sarcastic waiter who wasn't happy happy about the people who came in with groupons and made dinner very akward by making comments our whole time there. The prices of the food dosent reflect in the quality of the food you are getting. The food wasn't great.

Service was great, but my paella was missing several listed ingredients, such as any clams, mussels or chicken. And no saffron? It was really disappointing.

The lamb tasted like it had been in a freezer for some time. For the 36 dollar deal,, the meal was a good value. However, I don't know if the portions were "groupon sized" or if that is the portion size they really sell for 25 dollars. We left hungry. The server was very professional and friendly and the place was nice and well-decorated.

I enjoyed the ambiance. The food was pretty good. I think it is quite overpriced for what they offer.

From Our Editors

In 1992, restaurant owner Carlos Kainz and chef Julie Guerrero first joined forces to open a tiny West Seattle bakery and café, a spot that quickly gained traction and outgrow its modest trappings. The duo packed up the winning operation and moved on to a larger space and a larger vision, renaming their venture Dulces Bistro & Wine and crafting an ambitious menu focusing entirely on Latin-fusion cuisine for dinner. Although Guerrero traces her family heritage back to Mexico, many of her dishes, including paella valenciana and boeuf bourguignon, show strong European influences. Unadulterated Latin staples pepper the menu, such as the green chicken enchiladas that serve as a staple in Mexico City and at Sam I Am’s Cinco de Mayo parties.
