Though its name suggests one or the other, the classes at Fresh Fitness and Dance often seamlessly blend exercise with getting down. Fresh Fitness's team of dedicated instructors design cardio workouts around hip-shaking moves, create aerobic routines out of Brazilian samba dances, and teach Zumba's popular union of Latin rhythms and interval training.
Some sessions, of course, celebrate dancing for dancing's sake, such as ballroom lessons that illuminate classic styles such as the waltz, tango, and rumba. On the other hand, their roster of traditional fitness sessions, such as the Insanity workout—an intensive blend of core, strength, and cardio training—focus on sculpting physiques sans tripping the light fantastic. After demanding exercises, visitors can continue burning calories by sweating in the infrared sauna, a more relaxing option than pushing your car back home.
