Spiro’s serves up a decidedly Italian menu focused on pizza and pasta, but gives plenty of winks and nods to the neighboring cuisine of Greece in the process. With Mediterranean pizza toppings such as shrimp, feta, artichoke hearts and Greek olives on offer alongside the usual pepperoni and sausage, the restaurant’s pies are available for sit down dining or as a takeout option. Pastas, calzones and hearty salads – including a traditional Greek salad – round out a menu that’s topped off with tiramisu and double chocolate fudge cake. Spiro’s comfortable corner setting in West Seattle is easily accessible for diners of all ages, with the telltale Spiro’s red neon sign pointing the way to the small eatery’s entrance. If you can’t find a seat here, take away is always an option, as are the two other Seattle-area Spiro’s locations across town.
