Purchased bags of organic produce in summer 2012. It was difficult to know what the produce was, especially the small round "things". From the description, I thought they were a type of squash. I emailed Tiny's with a detailed description and was sent back a recipe for a large zucchini!. I finally cut one of the round things open and discovered they were cucumbers! Most of the bag was cucumbers, something I cannot eat. I tried some and became ill. Each week, my bag contained more cucumbers. I gave them to family, but they couldn't eat all the cucumbers either. I had always bought organic fruit from Tiny's booth at the Lake Forest Park Farmer's market but never again.

There produce is always top quality, and the new pick-up location in Marysville is great. Thanks again!

Compared to similar services, I don't prefer that I have no choice in what comes in my bag. And it doesn't seem any cheaper, which I would expect if you don't have to take customer requests into account.

I had only had smoothies from Tinys Organic before in Pikes Place and they were good. I see their sales person in my gym often but prices were high unless it was prepaid. Groupon offered a great opportunity to try it out for fruit. I liked it. I found some of the fruit especially cherries in my bag to be overripe and crushed, I think that could be due to delivery in a bag and bags were piled on one another at the location I picked up. Packaging in a box probably would protect the fruit. My only wish was that the fruit was not so overripe. But overall great product.

Price was rather high and the drop was almost 10 miles away so it was less than ideal. But the produce was great!

From Our Editors

Nestled near the banks of the Columbia River, scores of leafy fruit trees bask in the sun's mild rays, free from the shock of hail or snow. This is Tiny's farm, which benefits from a unique microclimate ideal for growing stone fruits, whether those are their 10 peach varieties, six types of cherries, or nectarines glanced at by Medusa. Apples and pears flourish at a second, cooler farm location, and a bevy of heirloom tomatoes and leafy greens take residence in the nourishing soil as well. Once these chemical-free morsels have been picked and inspected, staffers haul them off to pickup locations, farmers' markets, and doorsteps throughout the area. Families can fill their pantries with organic goodies by joining Tiny's CSA program, which does double duty by not only granting a heaping bag of fruits and veggies each week, but also directly supporting a local farm. Offices also benefit when they snag a weekly office fruit box full of energy-boosting sweetness sure to stave off the sugar crash of break room donuts or water coolers filled with hummingbird nectar. :m]]
