Don't believe what they show you on the brochure it's not what it seems. However, I did hear that the show in Long Island was magnificent. The one in NJ was horrible and waste of money.
Although there were some cool carvings - it was not what I expected. It's basically a big warehouse full of carved pumpkins.
This location was not as great as others visited. I don't not recommend this location.
Absolutely superb! I have never seen anything like it! The parking was a mess though.
The art work was spectacular. The place was not set up like I expected, but the pieces were original.
This was a good experience however I expected to see more pumpkins for the hype
It was a very nice experience for the kids to have it indoors. We loved the FROZEN and STAR WARS character. couldn't believe it was crowded.
Wasn't what I was expecting. The trail is basically in a large gym-like room, and it's so loud and crowded in there that it's hard to enjoy. Prob better for little kids. I would never do this again.
From Our Editors
From scary movies to haunted houses, Halloween entertainment often errs more toward the trick end of the holiday's trick-or-treat spectrum. RISE of the Jack O'Lanterns, however, embraces treats with its scare-free, family-friendly walking trail, which showcases more than 5,000 hand-carved and illuminated jack o'lanterns. Each unique piece is the work of local artists and sculptors, who spend anywhere from a few minutes to upwards of 20 hours on their designs.
Those images are arranged according to theme along the trail, leading guests past groupings of pumpkins carved with everything from larger-than-life animals to an over 50-foot-long dragon carved from hundreds of jack o'lanterns. Visitors can glance at talented artists as they hand-paint and carve the images of TV and movie stars into giant 100-pound pumpkins at the live carving station.
