This was my third time to this festival and every time I go I am reminded of how difficult it is to get to the wine tastings. The areas for the wineries are very small so there are only two people pouring, which led to lines of people waiting at least 3 deep. The bands and entertainment they have is always fun though so my friends and I end up having a good time, but waiting in the heat is no fun.

New setup. More wineries and breweries were situated along the walkway, less crowding in the beer building and wine gazebo. Lots of vendors, good music, parking was plentiful, lots of portapotties. I will return next year.

Arrived around 2p.m. and the Groupon entrance had already closed; however, the entry staff was very welcoming. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the music entertainment - it was just too hot! ...otherwise, a great event!

Good venue, decent vendors. August, however, is not any time for a festival. Lines weren't any longer, wine/beer wasn't any different (except warmer), music was just as good as similar festivals. We went due to proximity, won't be going again this time of year.

Had a wonderful time. The setup was different this year from last year's, but it worked and it was nice and for a great cause. The entertainment was awesome as well.

Holding a drinking event in August is just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Decent venue, OK vendors. Too many beer vendors with only IPAs though.. need more variety. And more shade. The fan on the edge of the stage was the highlight of the day for me. I'd come back if its held in October... even the vendors looked miserable.

Not horrible, but not as good as years past. Less beer/wine. Seemed to be more vendors than anything. No longer the “can’t miss” festival in Annapolis.

Enjoyed this event. Parking was easy. I liked that both beer and wine were offered. Vendors were pleasant to talk with and knowledgeable.

From Our Editors

Once a year Maryland-area wineries and national craft brewers set aside their differences for the Kegs and Corks Festival. There, more than 30 merchants—including well-known breweries and wineries, such as Goose Island, Victory, St. Michaels winery, and Great Frogs—hand out unlimited free samples of their best batches. The festival also attracts a staggering assortment of local businesses who set up shop to offer special pricing on everything from contemporary pop art pieces to all-natural, artisan beef jerky. This year the festival is pumped to feature a live performance by Kristen and the Noise! www.kristenandthenoise.com
