Hosted by Old Vernon Liquors, the first annual Fermentation Celebration will uncork a full day of beer and wine sipping, snacking, learning about home-brewing, watching sumo wrestling, and jamming to live music, rain or shine. Here's what you need to know before attending:
- Camping: All tickets include camping at the beautiful Muscatatuck Park and Campground. Proceeds from the event will benefit the park's new playground (as well as the Jennings County Youth Foundation). Water, electricity, and parking/camp area is limited and on a first come first serve basis.
- Beer and Wine: There will be more than 30 breweries and wineries in attendance, including local and national operations, pouring more than 100 boozy samples. These will be available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., after which it will be time for...
- The Afterparty and Music: Once all the breweries and wineries close shop, everyone can head to the on-site beer garden, where bands such as Chris Jesse & The Nine Mile Reach will start hitting the stage at 7 p.m. The party will go until 11 p.m., and a late-night campground show will punctuate the evening's festivities sometime after midnight.
