Very slow service .... I arrived at 8pm and didn't leave until midnight..... That was for the haunted house and hayride..... Buy VIP passes to enjoy yourself without the long timely lines....

don't buy these tickets. it was a rainy night and I handed my son his small ticket for the haunted house (size of raffle ticket 1/2" by 1"). He walked just 20 feet from the ticket booth and he lost it somewhere on the ground. I walked directly back to the booth and explained and the person said I was out of luck. no reissue of another ticket, just rude responses from the staff. This all happened within less than 5 minutes from the time I redeemed my groupon at the window. I smelled like weed everywhere I went. So I gave my ticket to my son and let him go with his sister and cousisn and I went and sat in the car. Two years ago this place was in trouble with the workers actually hitting the spectators. The local television station went out to interview the management and they had also said many other said the people who worked there were smoking weed. It is not a kids activity, unless you want your kids around drugged people.

By far the worst haunted attraction I've ever been to. Good deal for the Groupon as compared to what they normally charge, but still not worth it.

None of us were scared at all. I don't think that it was worth even the groupon price

We were in line forever, half blinded for part of it. Haunted house was decent, but liked the hayride better. Although by the time we were through both lines, they were ready to close and the guys running the hayride were getting rude and just wanted to go home.

From Our Editors

Creepy clowns, bloodied ghosts, and decaying zombies lurk behind every twist and turn at the Slaughtered at Sundown haunted house. Voted the best haunted attraction of 2011 by WDIV readers, the house's pitch-black passageways wind through a chilling cemetery, simulated scenes of violence, and plenty of loud noises and pop-up scares.

If they happen to survive the darkness, intrepid guests can brave a trip through the terrifying countryside on the Slaughtered Town hayride, where they'll encounter horrifying figures such as a headless horseman who seeks revenge against those who always beat him at Marco Polo. Those lucky enough to emerge from both attractions unscathed can calm down and enjoy their own snacks and beverages at Slaughtered at Sundown's bonfire area.
