Great pizza. Great toppings. Great crust. Their sauce is nothing to sneeze at, either. I get extra on mine and it's sooooo fine.
I can not in good faith encourage anyone to patronize this sad excuse for a pizza parlor. Hygiene is lacking, customer service is lacking, and the food is greatly lacking too. Armand was not using food service gloves. He also dropped artichokes from the Smart & Final jar onto the floor and kicked them aside. He further dropped artichokes on the counter and put them back in the jar. He was extremely skimpy with the toppings - there was not much sauce, extremely minimal cheese, and the artichokes were 1 or 2 little pieces per slice. The other pizza, the specialty pizza, had more toppings, but again the sauce and cheese were extremely insufficient. The kids and I each tried a slice of the two pizzas, and none of us wanted a second of each. We made a pot of linguini to eat and left the rest of the pizza in a box to give to a homeless person tomorrow. Money was wasted on this. I wish I could get my money and my time back! Incredibly disappointing! As a Jersey boy with Italian blood running through his veins, I know what pizza can and should be. I wanted to try this place as I still seek a truly authentic pizza place in The Valley. While I have yet to find what I am seeking, I would be glad to go back to dozens of other places I have tried over ever going back to Della's.
This place is not clean. The pizza was ok. I won't be back.
I called ahead and placed a pick up order. Everything was done perfect and very yummy!

The chefs at Della's Kitchen understand a few things about their customers. They know that people not only prefer ingredients that are fresh, but also free of trans fats and MSG. They are also aware of dietary restrictions. So even though Della's Kitchen specializes in pizza, options like gluten-free dough and vegan cheese make the tasty meal accessible to everyone. There are a dozen more ways to enjoy the food, as well. Specialty pizzas can be topped with barbecue chicken and cilantro, while cheese ravioli finds itself in a homemade marinara sauce. There's also a selection of subs and salads, and meals can end with a slice of cheesecake or a sextuplet of chicken wings. And for those customers who can't make it to the restaurant, Della's Kitchen uses unique, mobile brick ovens to bring the taste of fresh, crispy food to any event.
