Plan to go again next year :)
Great time .... Groupon did not have a time for the event?
This year appeared much better organized than last year. you seem to have got the word out this year about the event. I like the change that I can buy direct from the vender at their booth. I was surprised that parking was so tight. all and all a good day and wonderful event.
It is way too crowded, you can hardly get your tastings in. It would help if more of the vendors had another person or two helping them. If someone is purchasing a bottle everyone has to wait almost 10 minutes before the next person gets a pouring. Or maybe there could be a main place where all purchases are made and the vendor just hands them their card with the name of the bottle on it. I would not go again.
There was a good variety and music was nice. The lines, were no ones favorite things. I would have liked a map of the participating distilleries. Some of the restaurant owners I know asked for info, and I couldn't find a map of the floor layout. I think the deferred entrance times was not clear, and could be better advertised. I think the event will get bigger. Hope the outside area can be incorporated, enclosed. Tight squeeze inside. Claustrophobic.
This was a wonderful day! I had soo much fun
Nice venue, many selections of whiskey and liquor to try. A bit too crowded for a VIP experience.
As always, a great variety of different whiskey distributors, many also offering other vodka, rum, gin, and liqueur selections. The food trucks were good (though the BBQ vendor ran out of brisket for a while), and the live band provided a nice background sound! Will be back in 2019. :)
Don’t waste your money on VIP tickets.
The entry point was “Poorly organized” long long long lines, so by the time we got into the venue. General Admission was entering into the venue right behind the VIP guests.
Once inside it was way too overcrowded.
You couldn’t move from booth to booth.
VIP tickets included 10% discount to apply to purchase. Some vendors were not aware of these coupons.
Tasting was great! The entry line was a bit slow, but everything else was good
