Four Things to Know about ArtEpicure Cooking School
Whether you’re an experienced pasta wrangler or someone who can scarcely bear to say the word “pâté,” ArtEpicure Cooking School will help teach you the skills needed in a professional kitchen. It's also received popular acclaim: in 2014, it was named Best Cooking Class by Best of Boston.
- Classes are taught by a chef with decades of experience. Mark DesLauriers first served as an executive chef in 1983. He's since worked in kitchens around the world and taught culinary history at Tufts University.
- It teaches traditional classes as well as romantic couples classes. Standard classes range from Knife Skills to Pasta Workshop, while couples classes include Couples Date Night: Italian.
- It's committed to sustainable cooking. ArtEpicure uses locally-raised meat when possible and gets seasonally available fruit and vegetables from nearby farms and farmers’ markets.
- You can bring a big group. Themed cooking demonstration dinners can educate groups of up to 14 on a variety of world cuisines and hands-on classes give teams of novice cooks practical experience.
