Selina Reynoso was a horse lover before she even set foot on a farm. As a child, her introduction to the equestrian experience didn't come from riding a carousel, visiting a farm, or being raised by a family of Shetland ponies. When she was nine, she watched The Black Stallion, and was hooked. She begged her mother for riding lessons, and eventually found a horse of her own—Fairly Effervescent, or Fizzy for short.
Today, she gives horseback riding lessons at Effervescent Arabians as a way to introduce both children and adults to the world of equestrianism. Lessons cover such disciplines as hunter, jumping, dressage, and showmanship, and take place in one of the facility's four outdoor arenas or under cover inside the indoor arena during inclement weather. Elsewhere on the grounds, experienced riders can work with their horses on a 3/4-mile racing track and a polo field of more than 12 acres.
