I really love Papa G's pizza
The food tasted pretty good but the Calzones were a little burnt and marinara dip was cold. Fast service with a smile.
Pizza was good. Had some difficulty in getting there when the place was open.
Otherwise a nice place somewhat out of the way.
The pizza taste like Dominos pizza which is not good and it was pricey and the chef salad was pretty skimpy.
Food was really good. They also let us get a family special with it. We would go back again.
Excellent, great food, good value
the staff is very nice food good and the prices are fine...just wish they had better and later hours...maybe when they start making the big bucks..lol
Can't beat the breakfast at Papa G's. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the country potatoes were really good. Everyone is efficient and friendly. Service is very good and my apologies to our server - we got up from the table talking and completely forgot to leave a tip - it was not on purpose. We won't be back in Reno for a while but will remember we owe an extra tip.
From Our Editors
Papa G's anchors its menu with a half-dozen specialty pizzas, including one called The Combo topped with pepperoni, salami, sausage, and numerous different veggies. Indeed, Papa G's is known locally for its pies, but the menu here has plenty more to offer:
- Breakfast: The Papa G's breakfast is a hearty plate of eggs, hash browns, a biscuit with gravy, and your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage
- Sandwich: The triple club is stacked with turkey, ham, bacon, tomato, and two different cheeses on grilled sourdough
- Burger: The Papa G burger is crowned with bacon and an egg, and it all balances between slices of Texas toast
- Additional menu items: Calzones, salads, spicy chicken sandwiches, and various appetizers
