Modeled after the namesake location in New York City, Chelsea Piers Connecticut provides facilities and instruction for all ages and abilities. The new fitness facility, newly opened in December 2014, features 6 class studios, best-in-class cardio and strength training equipment, a staff of highly skilled personal trainers, luxe locker rooms, a juice bar and more. The Aquatics Center's Olympic size, 50-meter indoor pool caters to adults, while a 6,000-square-foot water play area entertains water-winged children. At the Field House, runners jog on the 1/5-mile track that circles the 100-yard turf field used for lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, flag football, and more.
Chelsea Piers also boasts a full Gymnastics Center, two full-size indoor ice rinks, Squash Club, Tennis Club, as well as basketball and volleyball courts. Members can also take advantage of in-house babysitting services in order to secure some much-needed alone time to test-drive the Adventure Center's trampoline Jump Zone or Climb Zone.
