The Rose Grill isn't ashamed of its fryer, and it certainly isn't ashamed of what comes out of it. Apart from deep-fried mushrooms, chicken wings, and french fries doused in Red Hot seasoning, this sandwich pioneer churns out the creation that gave it its nickname: the "Home of the Deep-Fried Burger." To make it, chefs wrap a beef patty in bacon, top it with cheese and ham, smother it with a layer of tangy Rotel, swaddle it in a dough wrap, and let it cook to a crisp in their beloved frier. The result pairs well with a plate of bacon-wrapped poppers for a late-night treat.
