I scheduled a pedicure. When I arrived the door was locked, the lights were out and the place was closed. I went back to the car and checked the address and returned with cell phone in hand calling to confirm. At about 5 minutes after the hour, a woman appeared, who was turning on the lights and unlocked the door. We were alone at the Salon. I am 59 years old and was asked to sit in a chair just inches off the floor for the comfort of the staff. I requested something else since I have arthirtis and back issues and was then offered a metal folding chair to sit on. Then she rinsed out a dish pan and filled it with water for me to soak my feet in. This is just not what I consider a spa treatment; I was not comfortable. I am used to an comfortable seating and a whirlpool soaking bath. I felt bad that they must be just starting up since there were no other staff or clients present, which was the only reason I didn't leave, I tried to give them the benefit but decided never to go there again. In fact after this experience, I have not bought another pedicure on Groupon. I would rather pay full price then to experient with start-up businesses. I don't want the health risks of using substandard equipment unestablished "salons"..
