From Our Editors
A lot has changed for Jimmy and Janine Golub since they first crossed paths in 1975, but one thing hasn't: their love of agriculture. After working on severaI farms, the pair purchased their own in 1985. They began growing strawberries and corn on the 80 acres of land, but soon added pumpkins and a petting zoo. But it was only after the couple had children that Our Farm evolved into a family-friendly fall destination.
Today, with its shape-shifting corn maze, petting zoo, hayrides, and horseback rides, Our Farm draws flocks of autumnal visitors annually. These scarf-clad guests can harvest future jack-o'-lanterns from the 5-acre pumpkin field, or simply watch as the trebuchet launches orange orbs into the sky. Visitors can also tour the barn before heading home with some of the farm's signature rhubarb sauce.
