The seasoned instructors of Harmony Yoga & Wellness Center aren’t the only ones ensuring their students stay safe during each hatha, flow, and hot-yoga class. Beneath each practitioner, the newly renovated studio’s specially engineered floating floor eases the impact felt by students, reducing the strain of complicate standing poses or attempts to replicate figure skating routines without any ice. Open for more than a year, the 1,200 sq. ft. space houses two studios where yogis spread out during nine breath-centric hatha classes and four flow sessions that strengthen muscles and increase flexibility through a flowing series of poses. After class, students can head over to the studio's Hideaway for a glass of complimentary fruit-infused water or peruse the studio's retail shop, which is stocked with yoga mats, handmade soaps, and essential oils made from Mother Nature's personal garden.
In addition to classes, the yoga center encourages whole body wellness with alternative medicine resources for acupuncture, nutrition, and massage.
