Too dark and foggy to see the actors and installations. Loud electronic and rock music ruins the scares.

Worst experience! My son was harrassed by one of the workers repeatedly and then asked to leave and was "abolished" from the haunted house for life. They would not let him tell his side of the story which was that he simply told the kid to leave him alone and put his arm up to stop the kid from shoving him after the kid left his designated area to follow my son and harrass him. The kid told management that he wanted to press charges on my son and my son was kicked out. Apparently the workers there are allowed to touch and lay their hands on customers, including pushing, shoving and poking, but customers are not allowed at any point to defend themselves or touch the workers in any way. Unless you want to be harrassed and mauled by strangers I would stay away from this place.

We couldn't see anything through the first 3 levels of the haunted house because of fog. No scares. There was no air circulating. I paid $10 to park and got told drive a mile down the road to park on glass and grass with new tires. Beyond upset.

If you drop your kids off, go west on Lancaster and have fun at the restaurants by the Omni while you wait for them. So much to do.

From Our Editors

Consider activities that take about an hour to complete: a trip to the grocery store, a relaxing massage, watching a favorite television show. Rarely, if ever, do haunted houses fall into this category—unless you're talking about Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth. In 2009, the attraction’s length caught the attention of Guinness World Records, which deemed Cutting Edge the longest walk-through haunted house in the world.

Looming in a section of the city dubbed “Hell’s Half Acre,” Cutting Edge populates an abandoned meatpacking plant that was originally built in the late 1920s. The plant’s equipment is still fully operational, and still resides inside—only today, it processes humans. To escape such a grisly fate, guests must grope through a multi-storied labyrinth replete with unthinkable horrors such as live monsters, realistic special effects, and salsas made in New York City. Cutting Edge is so terrifying, in fact, that it even earned the top spot on HauntedHouseRatings.com's list of the best haunted attractions in 2013.
