About T.o.westlake Karate Studio

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our studio is the longest established martial arts studio in the region. Since 1974, Grandmaster Dennis Ichikawa and staff have been providing quality martial arts instruction for the entire family.

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Our instructors will make the new student feel like one of the family from the first class. Thereafter, new students will be learning at a rapid pace to make them feel confident and secure.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I wanted to get into a business that was not "work", but fun and challenging. I wanted to have a positive impact on my student's lives. The Chuck Norris brand was also an inspiration.

What do you love most about your job?
I get to teach and work with energetic and vibrant students who love the art they are learning.
